What to expect?

During the upgrade period, your banking experience will be similar to how it is today, but there are a few things that may affect you.

Mark your calendars: All branches and call center will be closed November 1-3, 2025.

Online and mobile banking will be unavailable starting at 6 p.m. Friday, October 31 - 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 4.

Early November automatic deposits and payments could post up to a week early if received by 10/31.

Automatic loan payments could be delayed up to 5 business days. Please know no late fees will be assessed due to the delay.

Debit* and credit cards will work during the upgrade period.

*withdrawal amounts may be limited

During the upgrade, we encourage you to manually track your spending.

Mark the upgrade dates on your calendar (November 1-3)
Review and update your contact information
Schedule your bill payments for before or after the upgrade period
Know your account balance before 5 p.m. on October 31

What is changing?

When our services return to normal availability after the technology upgrade, you may see some changes to your account structure.

You will see all accounts associated with your Social Security/Tax ID number. This means you'll see all accounts for which you are primary accountholder, joint, trustee, power of attorney and more.
If you are not a joint accountholder on an account that you see today, you will not be able to view or access it after the upgrade.
While your account numbers may look different, you won't have to do anything to your accounts and everything will function as it does today.

What will stay the same?

Many things you use on a daily basis will be unchanged following our technology upgrade. You'll be happy to know the following items will remain the same:

Leaders Credit Union Routing number - 284383886
Checks
Debit and credit card numbers
PINs for debit and ATM cards
Digital banking username and passwords
Account nicknames in digital banking
Direct deposits, government-issued benefits, automatic payments (ACH) and scheduled transfers
Scheduled payments, external transfers or payments from other financial institutions to Leaders loans or credit cards

What is a technology upgrade?: Leaders always prioritizes our member experience. We want to lead the way on your behalf with best in class technology and easy to use solutions. We are upgrading our core data processing system and supporting hardware to better serve you. This core system is what Leaders Credit Union uses to maintain members' deposit and loan accounts, process transactions, and support services such as debit cards and digital banking.

How does the technology upgrade benefit me?

As a result of the technology upgrade, Leaders will be able to provide members with...

A stronger, safer, and more secure environment

What do I need to do?: We've been working hard to ensure a smooth transition for you. Please make sure we have your up-to-date contact information and be sure to watch for future communications.

Is my personal and financial information safe and secure?: Absolutely! The safekeeping of member account and personal information is our top priority. Personal data and account information will be safe and secure throughout our technology upgrade.

Will my statements look different?: Your monthly statement will continue to include all of the information you are accustomed to seeing. The layout of the document may slightly change with our upgrade.

Will branch hours be affected during the upgrade period?: Yes. All Leaders branches and member contact center will closed at 5 p.m. on Friday, October 31 and re-open on Tuesday, November 4 at 8:30 a.m. after the upgrade has been completed.

Will I be able to log in to online banking or the mobile app during the upgrade?: No. Leaders online banking and mobile app will be unavailable starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 31 until the upgrade is complete and we go live on Tuesday, November 3.

Will my debit card still work during the upgrade?: Absolutely! Spending amounts may be limited during the upgrade.

If I need cash, will I be able to use the ATMs?: Yes, you will be able to access the ATMs during the upgrade, however you will be unable to view your current balance and withdrawal amounts may be limited.

When will the upgrade be complete?: The technology upgrade will be complete by Tuesday, November 4. We thank you for your patience during this time.
