What to expect?

During the upgrade period, your banking experience will be similar to how it is today, but there are a few things that may affect you.

 

All branches and call center will be closed November 1-3, 2025.
Early November automatic deposits and payments could post up to a week early if received by 10/31.
Debit* and credit cards will work during the upgrade period.
*withdrawal amounts may be limited
Automatic payments for Leaders loans maybe slightly delayed. Rest assured, you will receive no late fees.
Online and mobile banking will be unavailable starting at 5 p.m. Friday, October 31 through 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 4.
During the upgrade, we encourage you to manually track your spending.

How to prepare?

We know change is hard and we want to make sure you are prepared for this upgrade period. 

 

  • Plan ahead! The upgrade will occur November 1-3, 2025.
  • Update your contact information. Log in to online or mobile banking
    to fill out our change of address form, call 731.664.1784, or stop by one of our branches to make updates.
  • Schedule your bill payments to avoid the upgrade window.
  • Know your account balance before 5 p.m. on October 31 as you will not have access to online and mobile banking during our upgrade. We encourage you to manually track your spending over the weekend to avoid overdrafts.

What is changing?

When our services return to normal availability after the technology upgrade, you may see some changes to your account structure.


  • You will see all accounts associated with your Social Security/Tax ID number. This means you'll see all accounts for which you are primary account holder, joint, trustee, power of attorney and more.
  • Joint account holders will now be able to see account information, transaction details, and make transfers to and from these accounts.
  • If you are not a joint account holder on an account that you see today, you will not be able to view or access it after the upgrade.
  • While your account numbers may look different, you won't have to do anything to your accounts and everything will function as it does today.

What will stay the same?

Many things you use on a daily basis will be unchanged:

 

  • Debit and credit card numbers, PINs for debit and ATM cards
  • Member numbers, share draft / checking account numbers
  • Username and passwords
  • Leaders routing number is 284383886
  • Direct deposits, automatic payments (ACH) and scheduled transfers
  • Scheduled payments, external transfers or payments from other financial institutions to Leaders loans or credit cards

This core system is what Leaders Credit Union uses to maintain members' deposit and loan accounts, process transactions, and support services such as debit cards and digital banking.

Absolutely! The safekeeping of member account and personal information is our top priority. Personal data and account information will be safe and secure throughout our technology upgrade.

Your monthly statement will continue to include all of the information you are accustomed to seeing. The layout of the document may slightly change with our upgrade.

Yes. All Leaders branches and member contact center will closed at 5 p.m. on Friday, October 31 and expect to re-open on Tuesday, November 4 at 8:30 a.m. after the upgrade has been completed.

No. Leaders online banking and mobile app will be unavailable starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 31 until the upgrade is complete and we go live on Tuesday, November 4.

 

Because of this, we encourage you to know you account balance before 5 p.m. on October 31 and manually track your spending during the upgrade to avoid overdrafts. 

Absolutely! Spending amounts may be limited during the upgrade.

Yes, you will be able to access the ATMs during the upgrade, however you will be unable to view your current balance and withdrawal amounts may be limited.

 

Additionally, ATMs will not accept check deposits beginning at 3 p.m. CT, Friday, October 31.

As part of our Technology Upgrade, access to card control settings will be temporarily unavailable from Thursday, October 30 until we reopen again on Tuesday, November 4.

 

If you plan to use your card during this time, please make sure it is unlocked in the Card Controls app prior to October 30.

 

The technology upgrade is scheduled to be complete by Tuesday, November 4. We expect branches and digital banking to be available again starting that day. We thank you for your patience during this time.
